DISCOVERY CHANNEL TO AIR FIRST EVER DOCUMENTARY ON KAL 007

Devvy Kidd, one of NWVs feature writers has written extensively about the downing of Korean Air Lines KAL 007 on Setptember 1, 1983. The Discovery Channel, to date the first and only cable or non cablet network is going to air a documentary on KAL 007 as part of its Unsolved History Series.

63 Americans were aboard that ill fated flight and are believed to be alive and being held by the Russians. This documentary includes interviews with General Kornukov, Pilot Gennady Osipovich, Commentator James Oberg, ICAO investigators, and Bert and Exie Schlossberg.
