Drunken driving and hit and run charges were filed against Washington State Supreme Court Justice Bobbie Bridge. This information was released by KOMO TV (read original article) and AP. To any reasonable and prudent person this judge should be disbarred if found guilty by an honest jury. Unfortunately, the trend shows that this judge will receive no more than a slap on the wrist. If this is done it will be further proof of the arrogance and corruption inside the American judicial system. This is another incident that will no doubt prove crusading attorney for justice, Jerry Spence, right in regard to corruption within the American judicial system.

Judges, cops, or any other public employee for that matter, are human.  They make the same dumb mistakes, commit the same crimes, break the same laws that people in the private sector do.  The difference is, we in the private sector face prison time, loose our drivers license, property, and even our children and they dont.

"The American legal system has been corrupted almost beyond recognition, Judge Edith Jones of U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, told the Federalist Society of Harvard Law School on February 28." According to MassNews.com article that appeared on their web site March 7th 2003. [Read Article] Judge Edith Jones's statement is right on target. The blatant hypocrisy of judges who sit on the bench and commit criminal acts against society is an assault against all good and decent Americans.

There are two sets of laws, one for them and one for us. Working for the government is great. Not just a great retirement plan, but during service they can get away with almost anything, knowing that all their 'inside' friends will protect them. When one of them leaves office, for whatever reason, they all praise him or her for a 'great job, well done'! Even if they were rotten to the core. I've never heard of one judge condemning another's performance. Have you?

The same thing is happening in Josephine County, OR, where I reside. Those in power protect each other. Many documented examples come to mind: No jail time for city cop Jeff Gaunt, who pleaded guilty for drug possession and is still employed by the Grants Pass City Police Department. Former Deputy Jerry B. Mathel was caught with child pornography but served no jail time. Also no jail time for former Deputy Craig Hatfield who was facing felony rape charges with a 17 year old minor female, and furnishing alcohol to a minor. These are just a few. We all need to ask presiding Judge Gerald C. Neufeld whats going on in the Josephine County, OR  courthouse.  The Josephine County Courthouse number is (541) 476-2309.

As of this writing, three (3)  Josephine County deputies have been charged with drunken driving, and are still employed with the Sheriff's Office. The Josephine County Sheriff's Office number is (541) 474-5123.

NewsWithViews.com will follow these stories and report the outcome to our millions of readers. In the meantime, let your voices be heard.
