OBAMA'S KENYAN VISIT: MEDIA HIDES THE TRUTH, AGAIN!

During a speech on Sunday while still visiting his ancestral home, President Barack Obama claimed that he felt it was necessary to offend his Kenyan hosts when he called on the African country to reject ethnic divisions and government corruption. "I don't want everybody to get too sensitive, but it's time to change habits," Obama added. "Kenya's corruption is an anchor that weighs you down." However, the president failed to mention the allegations of corruption in his own administration or within his own family.

While the news media played up Obama's scolding of Kenyans over their civil rights record -- especially when it comes to gays and lesbians -- a number of reporters didn't fail to notice how President Obama has a propensity for lecturing Americans, Israelis and Kenyans, while kowtowing to the Chinese, the Iranians and other less-than-cordial nations.

Recalling his family's struggles during his usual verbose and lengthy address, Obama recounted how his grandfather worked as a cook for British diplomats. "He was referred to as a boy, even though he was a grown man," Obama said. The president pointed to his own family's progress from those humble beginnings, but avoided mentioning the names of his relatives since he has two relatives living as immigrant lawbreakers in the United States -- an aunt and an uncle -- who were never deported by U.S. officials even after one of them was arrested for a DUI.

In addition, Obama's paternal grandmother, Sarah Omar Obama, is a ranking member of a Sunni Muslim mosque in Kenya, and while there is no evidence of direct contact with extremists, her mosque has been frequented by members of the Somali-based al-Qaida branch, Al Shabaab, according to Palestinian-born terrorism expert Walid Shoebat. She is an alleged frequent guest of Saudia Arabia's royal family and is the founder of a multi-million dollar Islamic organization.

The President also has a half-brother who is a suspected child sexual predator whose arrest by London police officers was totally ignored by the U.S. news media along with the backgrounds of President Obama's friends, mentors and political allies. The Law Enforcement Examiner carried a surprising incident involving Barack Obama's older sibling, Samson Obama, who is currently banned from entering the United Kingdom.

One of President Obama's siblings got into hot water with British authorities while he was traveling to his half-brother's inauguration in Washington, D.C. While the story received attention in Britain, U.S. news outlets avoided the story like the plague. The allegations against a member of the new President's family were serious but the media chose to protect the President's family rather than a 13-year-old British girl.

President Barack Obama's half-brother was denied a visa to enter Britain following an accusation that he attempted to sexually assault a young British girl, according to the British news media. The British newspapers reported that Samson Obama, a Kenyan national, tried to enter Britain while he was on his way to Washington, DC for his brother's Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2009.

However, according to British news media, immigration agents at East Midlands Airport, using the latest biometric tests, discovered he was linked to an incident in the United Kingdom that [had] occurred in November, 2008. Information on the database revealed that Samson -- who manages a mobile phone shop just outside Nairobi, Kenya -- was in fact the man who was arrested by police officers in Berkshire after he allegedly approached a group of young girls, including a 13 year-old, and allegedly tried to sexually assault one of them.

According to The Sun report, the children took refuge inside a cafe, but Obama followed them and became aggressive towards them at which point the cafe owner asked Obama to leave and called the police.

When police officers arrived, Samson Obama was still in the vicinity and, after questioning him, he was placed under arrest by the officers. During his processing, Obama gave officers a false ID -- claiming to be Henry Aloo, a genuine refugee and asylum seeker -- and supplied his mother Mum Kezia's address in Bracknell, Kenya, according to reporters in London.

After Samson's arrest he was fingerprinted but not formally charged and then he was allowed to leave the United Kingdom. But his "pedigree" and the details of the arrest were stored on the Home Office's new database of prints and biometric details. Samson Obama was apprehended as he attempted to slip back into Britain to visit relatives en route to his half-brother's inauguration.

The British news media also reports that the White House was informed and a Home Office source is quoted as saying,"This was obviously an extremely sensitive issue when it was flashed up by the database."

"But the system is designed to flag up people who have come to the attention of the police in the UK and are then trying to return," he said to reporters. "This was a good example of how people who may be undesirable can be refused another visa."

It is thought that Samson Obama -- one of the President's 11 half brothers and sisters by his father who had four partners -- managed to travel on to Washington for the inauguration after boarding a connecting flight to the States from East Midlands. On April 10, 2009, a Home Office spokesman confirmed that Samson Obama was refused a visa after immigration officers noticed one of the documents he supplied with his visa application was false. That led them to make further inquiries.

While many may say the information on President Obama's family members is much ado about nothing, then why do the news media have a double standard? "I'd venture that if American media outlets found it newsworthy that President Bush's niece Noelle falsely tried to grab a prescription for Xanax in 2002, a teen-sex controversy over a half-brother might be worth a few sentences," said Newsbusters executive editor, Tim Graham.
