CONSPIRACY
PART 18

(Note: The day following the November 4 elections, President Obama replied to a question about whether he would issue Executive Orders by saying that if Congress would send him bills he could sign, only then would his Executive Orders "go away." In other words he is acting as if he won the elections instead of being repudiated by them! This type of attitude is usually displayed by a supreme egotist who may have a messianic complex. In addition, many of the Democrats who lost had Bill and/or Hillary Clinton campaign for them. Democrats should remember this when choosing a presidential candidate for 2016, and that could be a factor in Jeb Bush winning the presidency that year.)

Jim thought for a minute and then asked, "I wonder how the world will end with a 'whimper'?" I replied that the "whimper" would be a "conditioned response" brought about after psychological probes. For example, I asked Jim if he remembered the case of Terri Schiavo, who was, in effect, dehydrated to death. He said he did remember the case, and I explained she was not the first of the worst such case. However, her lack of being given even food was raised to national attention to see if the public would demand an end to such cruel treatment, or simply "whimper" and allow it to happen. When the public's response was the latter, even though (at the time) Florida Governor Jeb Bush could have said that violated Florida's law banning assisted suicide, the Power Elite knew the public would accept President Obama's so-called "death panels."

I told Jim that the same type of thing happened in the case of little Elian Gonzalez when the public was told he was being returned to the father in Communist Cuba. Jeb Bush could have blocked it saying murdering Cuban Communist dictator Fidel Castro had said Elian was not being returned to his father, but to him (Castro). Elian was returned, and the public "whimpered" but did nothing to stop it.

I went on to describe to Jim how the psychological conditioning of the public had been occurring in many aspects of Americans' lives, even via music, and without the public knowing what was happening to them. In the past, music was usually melodic, soft/tender, poetically meaningful, uniquely sounding, not sexually suggestive, intelligent and sincere (such as "It Had To Be You"). But within the last few decades, music has often become pulsing, loud/rough, repeatedly intoned with a simplistic message, emphasizing the beat, similarly sounding, sexually suggestive, showing little intelligence, and with emotional loudness substituting for sincerity. This has conditioned many people to act in a manner reflecting the newer music.

Relevant to what Jim had said earlier about the masses going along (with what the Power Elite wanted) for the sake of their jobs or whatever, I reminded him that I had earlier (see CONSPIRACY, Part 10) referred to W. J. Ghent's OUR BENEVOLENT FEUDALISM written in 1902. And in "The Next Step: A Benevolent Feudalism" (THE INDEPENDENT, April 3, 1902), Ghent wrote that the "...coming status...will be something in the nature of a Benevolent Feudalism....Group fidelity...is already observable....The autocrats...will distribute benefits to the degree that makes a tolerant, if not satisfied people....A person of offensive activity may be denied work in every feudal shop and on every feudal farm from one end of the country to the other....His actions will be promptly communicated to the banded autocracy of dukes, earls and marquises of industries....The individual security of place and livelihood of its members will then depend on the harmony of their utterances and acts with the wishes of the great nobles; and so long as they rightly fulfill their functions their recompense will be generous.

They will be at once the assuagers of popular suspicion and discontent and the providers of moral and intellectual anodynes for the barons....A host of economists, preachers and editors will be ready to show indisputably that the evolution taking place is for the best interests of all....What the barons will most dread will be the collective assertion of the villains at the polls; but this, from experience, they will know to be a thing of no immediate danger. By the putting forward of a hundred irrelevant issues they can hopelessly divide the voters at each election; or, that failing, there is always to be trusted as a last resort the cry of impending panic....Two divisions of the courtier class are the judges and the politicians....They must satisfy the demands of the multitude, and yet, on the other hand, they must obey the commands from above....The nobles will have attained to complete power, and the motive and operation of Government will have become simply the registering and administering of their collective will....Armed forces will, of course, will be employed to overawe the discontented and to quiet unnecessary turbulence. Unlike the armed forces of the old feudalism, the nominal control will be that of the State....When the new order is in full swing, so comprehensive and so exact will be the social and political control that it will be exercised in a constantly widening scope....Peace (and stability) will be the main desideratum....A happy blending of generosity and firmness will characterize all dealings with open discontent....(To) the prevention of discontent...the teachings of the schools and colleges, the sermons, the editorials...and even the plays at the theaters will be skillfully and persuasively molded." Jim's reaction to this quote was one of amazement as to how it already so accurately described conditions in the United States (and the world) today.
