PIRANHA PUNDITS PANIC OVER PALIN

A letter to the editor in my local newspaper on September 7 said, “Obama shows integrity, Palin shows mean spirit.” One of Obama’s deceived followers writes: When news broke about Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter, it was Barack who told people that her family and children were off limits. By contrast, the woman he defended decided the best way to introduce herself to the American public was to take catty, cynical and mean-spirited potshots at the Democrat candidate.” Of course, her hero Barack, who many think walks on water, made his comments AFTER the piranha media had already done his dirty work for him. Even though I don’t think this classy woman in a dress (not a pantsuit) needs Barack’s defense, once that horse got out of the barn, it’s difficult rounding it up. The intentional besmirching had been done. This letter writer who is totally ignorant of her rock star, Barack, should Google "Acorn & Barack Obama" and become enlightened!!
Doesn’t this writer realize these pampering pundits for Barack couldn’t find anything substantial in which to discredit Sarah so they picked on her family? Off what turnip truck did this letter writer fall? Are all his supporters this stupid? Do they also believe the picture on the Internet where someone has transposed Sarah’s head onto the beautiful body of another woman in an American flag bikini with a rifle in her hand? In the background is a guy with a cigarette and a suggestion that beer is involved. This is meant to be yet another swat at the National Rifle Association, of which she is a member, the Second Amendment to the Constitution and her Christian beliefs. I have to admit these popinjays are good photo manipulators. There even may have been some type of implication about V.P. Cheney shooting his friend in February 2006. Some of these extremists were even praying Cheney’s friend would die so he could be charged with manslaughter.
Many voters have abandoned the GOP over the last few decades and McCain’s affiliation with the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR) and his moderate views are still troubling to many conservatives. But the fresh-face of Sarah’s appearance on the GOP stage seems to have invigorated the base once again. Is she being manipulated? Controlled? Are we being fooled again like we were with Gingrich’s Contract with America and that new crop of conservative GOP Congress people in 1994 which gave us NAFTA, with the blessing of unrepentant radio commentator Rush Limbaugh, who now seems to be doing a great job defending Sarah -- even going so far as to call our Democrat presidential candidate, Barack Obama, a Marxist.
Myrna Blyth, author of Spin Sisters, writes about how the women of the media sell unhappiness and liberalism to the women of America. It seems a pack of Spin Sisters journalists flew to Washington on an early morning shuttle for a get together with Hillary Clinton (after Gingrich’s victory). Hillary wanted them to help boost her image with mainstream women, whose votes Bill Clinton needed most (and which Hillary used during her recent bid for president), and most of Myrna’s colleagues were happy to oblige Hillary. On the way, they started to trash Newt Gingrich and his Contract with America, agreeing it was just a PR stunt to fool gullible voters. They were especially enraged that the Contract endorsed prayer in the schools.
Speaking at the Washington-based right wing think tank ,The Heritage Foundation, on October 5, 1994, Gingrich vowed to put school prayer on the fast track if the GOP won a majority in the House of Representatives. The Council on National Policy (CNP) crowd met on February 25, 2007. Recognizing that the GOP needed the Christians' votes to win, the then GOP front man, Newt Gingrich, was encouraged by Focus on Family founder, James Dobson (who once said he could never vote for McCain), to come clean about his adultery and three marriages. As you can see, the plot thickens! But if Sarah is the real thing, Christians should be praying for her daily. I remember in 1977 when singer Anita Bryant successfully led a drive against the homosexual agenda in Miami-Dade County; the media’s behavior was abysmal and when the homosexual crowd threatened the companies she endorsed, they succumbed to the threats and a boycott. Anita’s career was destroyed and she eventually faded from the scene. We didn’t have the conservative radio talk shows and conservative TV back then that are defending Sarah today.
Did Sarah pray, “Not my will but Thy will be done” before jumping into the hostile Beltway or did she simply realize there was apathy in the Christian community and something had to be done? This lack of will on the part of God’s soldiers is taken up in the Song of Deborah and (another) Barak in Judges 5. It is one thing to be paralyzed by fear and confusion in combat that the soldier fails to use his weapon. In that case there is at least the plus factor of his presence alongside his buddies that keeps the morale from completely crumbling -- as John McCain can attest to during his imprisonment and the code system the prisoners developed to communicate with each other. But to stay home, minding the sheep like Reuben and not be involved at all, is sin. It is to these that the angel of the Lord speaks and says, “curse ye Meroz…because they came not to the help of the Lord…( Judges 5:23) God does not act independently of His People. His opportunity comes when His faithful ones determine to use their weapons against His enemies -- and that often requires prayer plus action.

Under the radar, has God been preparing Sarah for such times as these since her election as a councilperson and mayor of Wasilla, Alaska? When the men don’t respond in a way that glorifies His name, God turns to women and He allowed the radical feminist movement to form and thrive since the '60s and '70s. I told about the radical trailblazers in Oregon in my article, “Those Were The Days, My Friend.”
Early Barack supporter, New Ager Oprah Winfrey, is saying she won’t have Sarah Palin on her show before the election because she doesn’t like to promote a candidate. Liar, liar pants on fire. V.P. Al Gore appeared on her show in September 2000. According to Cal Thomas, this was an unpaid commercial for his presidential candidacy designed to enhance his appeal to those women who care more the way a man looks than how he thinks. “I want to know who Al Gore really is,” began Oprah. Neither she, nor we, found out because the questions she asked and the answers he gave allowed Gore to mask policy issues that will impact our lives far more than how we “feel” about him. Thomas wrote the audience was no better. “What puts a smile on your face?” asked one woman. (With a question like that, one wonders why such airheads who go to see Oprah are allowed to vote!) In her introduction, Oprah said she had stayed away from interviewing politicians because, “I never felt like I could have a real, real, honest conversation with them.” She was right, said Cal. She didn’t have a “real, real, honest conversation with Gore, possibly because she said the entire process of electing a president “boils down to…who do you like?” Gore kissed up to her…and it worked for many, as USA Today reported that exit polls in 2000 showed 54% of American women pulled the lever for Gore and 43% of them voted for Bush.
While I feel confident Sarah could give an excellent speech without a teleprompter (which happened during a malfunction during her acceptance speech), then there is the late night David Letterman crowd who can’t tell a joke without a teleprompter and they make fun of her! Radio talk show host Dennis Prager said Letterman has a 5-year old child out of wedlock but Letterman recently brought up Sarah Palin’s 17-year old daughter’s pregnancy. Isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black?
Even if Sarah Palin is one heartbeat away from the presidency, I’d sooner have her in that office than the sycophant who is two heartbeats away: House Speaker Pelosi. If Sarah is what she appears to be, and Alaskans confirm her integrity, hopefully she will learn quickly that the Beltway will not be her friend!! She shouldn’t believe she’s made it when some easily recognized reporter asks her for an interview. This is not the time to gain approval of the people she is trying to defeat! And this is not the time for McCain to put the left-wing devils into some key positions to show bipartisanship, should he be elected.
While Barack Obama’s choice for vice president, Joe Biden, was praised for raising his boys after his wife and daughter were killed in an auto accident and he was sworn in at his injured son's bedside ("country first," you know) with media cameras rolling. Sarah, on the other hand, is being ridiculed for taking on the V.P. nomination with five children and, my goodness, one a Downs Syndrome baby and a 17 year old pregnant daughter. Then there is the rumor about the baby’s mother. These fools must be poor in math and watch Desperate Housewives on TV because one of them pretended to be pregnant with her daughter’s child while the girl was hidden away in some far away place. Sarah is being vilified like no candidate I have ever seen in my lifetime. She’s being tested to see if she passes and obviously, by her popularity, she has with flying colors!
Widower Joe Biden could raise his children and ride home every night on the train but apparently Sarah with a husband and great family support isn’t going to be able to serve as V.P. if McCain is elected? But one big difference! Sarah and her family will have to leave their beloved Alaska and relocate and live with the corruption and perverts on the Potomac. Her children will have to attend a new school. The sacrifice she and her family will have to make is tremendous, but “country first,” you know.
Wasn’t it the radical women who said, “I am woman, hear me roar?” Weren’t they the ones who encouraged the women to leave their husbands and pursue a career, all the while trying to break through that glass ceiling? They fought for “equal rights” and now women are serving in the military, leaving their babies behind with a husband or grandparents to raise. They don’t even come home at night. The closest they can get to their children are perhaps on the Internet and that’s hardly a hug as they are being tucked into bed. The Internet can never replace a boo-boo kissing mother.
One of these radical feminist journalists said, “If the media reaction is anything, it is literally laughter in many news rooms.” If that is all that Sarah means to them, why are they vilifying her with such vengeance? Sarah is a nightmare to these women. Another said it is a political gimmick and finds it insulting to women, the Republican Party and to the country. Another said Palin is less qualified for the V.P. than Harriett Myers was for the Supreme Court but one big difference, Palin passes all the right-wing litmus tests. Amen, Spin Sister!

Perhaps without any malice or forethought about running for vice president, Sarah Palin is unintentionally exposing the whole deceptive progressive feminist movement and helping return their agenda to the dung pile of history. Their agenda has never been to promote just any woman. Their agenda has always been to promote lesbianism and infanticide.
