21ST CENTURY SLAVERY: FOOD STAMPS, ADC AND SECTION 8 HOUSING

Food stamps, aid to dependent children, free medical care and section 8 housing offer over 48.1 million Americans and non-citizens instant gratification, but in turn destroys their self-worth, self-respect, personal accountability and meaning for their lives.

Each year, over 3.5 million people visit Yellowstone National Park. When you visit the park, you see signs, “Don’t feed the bears or any wild animals. Feeding them habituates animals to handouts and can be deadly to them, to you and your family.”

Yet, countless people feed the animals. As a result, bears become too lazy to forage for food. Some of them starve to death in the woods—which offers plenty of nourishment—when the tourists aren’t there to give them handouts.

Back in 1964, President Lyndon Baines Johnson created the “Great Society” welfare state that began a free feeding-frenzy for “poor” American citizens. Today millions of people “feed” off the entitlements, freebies and tax dollars of every working American.

One of the Founding Fathers, Ben Franklin said, “I am for doing good to the poor, but...I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”

Countless millions of African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans and poor white Americans survive on free food, housing, medical care and aid to dependent children. But that Faustian Bargain destroys their drive for education, self-worth and any hope to move into a decent paying job and purpose in their lives.

“In the U.S. today, total spending on means-tested welfare programs amounts to $956 billion per year. This figure represents an increase of 32% over the level of welfare spending that was in place at the beginning of the Obama presidency. On average, each federal income taxpayer in America spends $8,776 annually to keep federal welfare programs afloat.” Source: www.discoverthenetworks.org

In 2013, after trillions of dollars ran through the hands of our American welfare recipients since 1964, we suffer 48.1 million people devouring more food stamps, more aid to dependent children and more Section 8 housing subsidies. Within their emotional cages, it’s become a way of life.

Countless minority women birth millions of babies to “make” more money on welfare to feed their drinking, drugs, car payments and party time. They farm out their kids to grandmothers who then make more money as foster parents.

What happens when all those Electronic Benefits Transfer cards (EBT) fail as the government goes broke?

Journalist James Bracken said, “In response to recent articles in mainstream military journals discussing the use of the U.S. Army to quell insurrections on American soil, I offer an alternate vision of the future. Instead of a small town in the South as the flash point, picture instead a score of U.S. cities in the thrall of riots greater than those experienced in Los Angeles in 1965 (Watts), multiple cities in 1968 (MLK assassination), and Los Angeles again in 1992 (Rodney King). New Yorkers can imagine the 1977 blackout looting or the 1991 Crown Heights disturbance. In fact, the proximate spark of the next round of major riots in America could be any from a long list cribbed from our history.”

With violent gangs (Black Flash Mobs) amassing in our major cities to attack innocent taxpayers, where do they originate? Sociologists tell us un-parented youth of any race form gangs in order to “belong” to something. With 68 percent of African-American children growing up with single mothers and most of them subsisting on welfare—without a family unit, they face horrific and ugly futures.

Colin Flaherty wrote: White Girl Bleed a Lot—The return of racial violence to America and how the media ignore it. Main Stream Media deny that black mob violence has reached epidemic levels in America.

Mexican gangs in Los Angeles control entire sections of that city where they sell drugs, shoplift and wreak havoc in schools. Welfare queens sport cell phones, EBT cards (electronic benefits cards), free medical and unending Section 8 housing credits.

One look at welfare on American Indian Reservations shows rampant alcoholism, uneducated kids, entrenched poverty and heartless, purposeless existence.

Poor whites become entrenched in a vicious cycle of illiteracy, drugs, unemployment and crime.

None of them work for a living. None contribute back to our society. None promise to be positive American citizens.

Welfare bestows onto America a new, entrenched and poverty- stricken class of people now measuring in excess of 50 million individuals. It cannot and will not get better as long as the “freebies” continued without incentives.

Solutions:

1. Welfare must be tied to workfare in order to establish personal accountability, purpose, education, vocational tech and responsible citizenship.

2. Aid to dependent children must tie mothers to classrooms that educate for birth control, job training and personal responsibility.

3. Food stamp recipients must be tied to workfare in the community to work jobs that provide purpose.

4. Inner city kids must be mandated to perform in schools with gender separate classes to provide discipline and excellence.

If we take no proactive action, we face endless millions of kids who become childhood-parents who become lazy, worthless, criminals who become useless to themselves and humanity.

Black journalist Thomas Sewell said, “The assumption that spending more of the taxpayer's money will make things better has survived all kinds of evidence that it has made things worse. The black family- which survived slavery, discrimination, poverty, wars and depressions- began to come apart as the federal government moved in with its well-financed programs to "help."

Welfare doesn’t work. We must try a different path.
