POLITICAL NON-REALITY

It’s an interesting time in history or His Story. Bush’s poll numbers, according to incessant reports on CNN, have hit an all-time low (akin to Clinton’s poll numbers during the Blue Dress fiasco); our ports are suddenly in the hands of foreigners (it’s been going on for decades); illegals will be given amnesty as a gift for invading our shores per UN/NWO instructions; and the new RFID-chip passports will track us all over the world starting this October. These are indeed perilous times, as the Bible warned.

Somehow the liberals have laid all this madness at the feet of President Bush who they used to claim didn’t have any . . . what was that word they all used ad nauseum? Oh, yeah, “gravitas.” Now, they’d probably say he has too much, what with their constant comparisons of Bush to Hitler.

Well, reality demands closer scrutiny and awareness that God’s Plan, found in that now-notorious publication, the Bible, is coming to fruition. The liberals, God bless ‘em all, are doing a tremendous job proving His Word is true even while they march to random drum beats produced by the “different drummer” they all sang about in the ‘60s and ‘70s.

At moments like this, I often find myself laughing at the machinations of the liberals (communists, socialists, fascists, globalists), especially the media mavens of propaganda, and some who have the nerve to call themselves conservatives; but then I decided that some righteous indignation is a good thing.

Perhaps I’ve been a bit soft-hearted about the condition of humanity. I used to mourn for those who will suffer God’s judgments until I realized that He’s done everything over the millennia to draw them to Him . . . and most still reject Him and blame Him for all the ills of the world (when they’re tired of blaming Republicans). I’m rendered prayerful over what’s coming, especially the stuff in the Revelation of Jesus Christ, known to most as Revelations—a last opportunity for those who have spit in God’s face to finally come to their senses.

Still, it’s hard to imagine a world filled with so much evil that the Lord must open those seals. It breaks my heart that God the Father must allow the angels to pour out those bowl judgments on the miscreants who rejected Him, who will curse at Him even when they know the truth. But this is what happens when the bulk of humanity chooses a lie over the Truth, and prefers its own way to the real Way. And it can’t be easy choosing darkness over the Light and then living a lie . . . or many lies.

It’s a lie to believe that anyone can go against God’s will and get away with it forever. Maybe some are spared for a season, but that season will eventually end and they won’t be singing Kumbaya when they have to answer to God for what they did (or didn’t do), for what they believed that ran contrary to His Word . . . when they’re finally held accountable for rejecting Him.

The Bible talks about bad shepherds leading their flocks astray and there’s no shortage of those folks lurking in our midst. Even the mainstream media has become a collective false shepherd with its gate keeping and media agenda setting, both of which are geared to poison our minds and lure us into the ever-growing darkness that’s enveloping humanity.

That darkness presented itself over the decades in the free-love movement, the adultery-is-fine crusade, the “destruction of the unborn and sale of their body parts” holocaust, the pornography, pedophilia, and even bestiality lessons at private and public colleges, the relative values agenda, the live-and-let-live mantra that sends one soul after another into the clutches of the rulers of “this present darkness.”

Still, I find myself in a bit of a conundrum over this battle of evil against God. I’m finishing a novel called Trespass, by Caroline Bridgwood. It’s one of those family sagas set primarily during World War II. The Nazis are the enemies of freedom and the purveyors of all evil, notwithstanding that a few know the truth and work to resist their wicked leaders. The heroine of the story, Kitty, is with her cousin who’s hiding out in Paris with the Resistance; but Kitty has also come to know a young Nazi who can’t live with himself for the crimes he committed against Jews in Russia—the mass slaughter of men, women, and children by shooting squads. Kitty offers no apologies for talking with the German soldier. Her cousin understands and says, “Because you have to love good more than you hate evil. Otherwise there’s no point in our even being alive.”

Those words haunted me for hours after I read them. Then I remembered that I’m here for one mission only: to glorify God. (And I’m not exactly doing a bang-up job, especially during some of the tests and trials I’ve experienced.)

The bottom line: I started this piece (which is most painful to type due to those nasty workplace injuries) wanting to blast the liberals, to blast turncoat conservatives, and others who have no clue what the truth is; who live in a reality that’s made of whole cloth. I wanted to rail at those who can’t understand that elections weren’t stolen; the Council on Foreign Relations monitored them because they don’t want us to have the right to elect our own leaders. This was stated by David Rockefeller to politicos and media heads at a Bilderberg meeting in or around 1991.

I wanted to scream at those who compare Bush to Hitler that the comparison is almost an insult to the millions who died during World War II under Hitler’s reign of terror, but the left must have its delusions, rationalizations, and lies in order to survive—they would rather die for a lie than expose the illegitimacy and sinfulness of their smorgasbord of groupthink.

I wanted to blast the liberal judges who condemned the unborn to death, who release criminals with a slap on the wrist and punish the victims, and who’ve invaded and trampled the full meaning and intent of our Constitution. And then I remembered the judges who ruled the ancient cities on the plains and how their judgments caused the destruction of four out of five of those cities. Our future will not bode well for us under judges who do the same.

I guess it was one of those Esther moments that led to prayer and then the usual phone call to my co-author, Jack L. Kemp, to ask for some contributions to this piece. He didn’t let me down. I wrote, and then he added his two cents. We both agree the problems facing this nation are daunting; and it’s hard to sit back and celebrate the hedonistic culture that’s stealing the United States. They don’t believe the Bible, but they work overtime to make everything the Lord said would happen come to pass. They elevate themselves to god status, compromise with the world, and claim they’re working toward the birth of some kind of man-made utopia. How utopian is a global society ruled by elites with the masses as their slaves?

Well, it’s been tried before and it doesn’t work. Over and over again, humanity tries to replicate in its own spirit what only God can do. They cry out for peace while preaching hatred and lies. They hatch a plan and if it goes awry they blame the opposition. Their machinations are corrupt and morally bankrupt because THEY are corrupt and morally bankrupt. While they desire to rule as our benevolent superiors, they merely carp like Quislings. What was the last idea advanced by those so-called progressives? The Great Society? Or does merely surrendering to murderers and thugs represent an idea?

And I refuse to let the current administration off the hook. They’ve bungled just about every major policy initiative with the exception of tax cuts. First, our military is not a nation-building apparatus. It’s a force that, as Rush Limbaugh says, is there to “kill people and break things.” To use it as anything else does a disservice to our people in uniform. Ergo, amnesty for those who’ve trespassed their way into this nation is an invitation to terrorists around the world to come to our hallowed shores and reduce them to ashes. Maybe that’s what the rulers of “this present darkness” want.

Further, the co-opting of Democrat ideas (e.g. No Child Left Behind) does not reflect a plan by the Republicans. Even as Bush completely sold out his ideals (dropped the voucher part of the program) he gained loyalty not for himself but for Edward “he chose not to save her” Kennedy. Plus the ingrate NEA does nothing but grouse about how they have work harder or it costs too much to catch the kids up to grade level. Maybe if they hadn’t dumbed them down in the first place, per CFR and UN instructions, they wouldn’t be in this pickle. Lord, please . . . spare us the propaganda about how great government schools are for the children.

Then there’s that little mess-up with Israel, the nation he sold out on every front to their enemies (some of whom e-mail me regularly with one fable or another about the irrelevance of God’s land and people). He’s failed to move our embassy to Jerusalem (a campaign promise) and forced them to give land for no peace, unless like Moe in You Nasty Spy, you mean “a piece of this and a piece of that.” In allowing Iran to proceed with their nuclear plans, what he called an “Axis of Evil” power now threatens Israel with annihilation.

Not to sound like a shill for the Left, but no one since Hitler has threatened more Jews than G. W., if only through inaction. (Clinton, on the other hand, just ran one of their elections so he could throw Netanyahu out of office and plunge the nation into political chaos which made her ripe for her enemies to stage a five-year intifada complete with homicide bombings of civilians.) So color me surprised when W called for initiatives that actually threaten OPEC’s oil monopoly. But with no teeth in it (or with no “gravitas”), can we really expect anything to change?

While I’m on a roll, let me mention that the “esteemed” halls of Congress haven’t been any great shakes, either. They’re the ones chiefly responsible for government spending in this nation. Part of the genius of our system is the checks and balances among the three branches of the federal government, but if two branches conspire to spend us into oblivion and the third branch turns a blind eye as we approach financial ruin in the name of their global utopia, we might want to put an end to such spending.

Look what they’ve done. When the IRS can seize a church, do we really have freedom of religious expression? When one side of the political spectrum controls the news we hear, do we have freedom of the press? When the police arrest peaceful protestors and Christian witnesses at a Gay Pride festival because of political correctness, do we really have the freedom to assemble? When speech and ideas are criminalized as hate speech and hate thoughts, or denied altogether through McCain-Feingold, do we really have freedom of speech? Perhaps, it’s time we finally exercise our First Amendment right to petition for a redress of grievances before that right doesn’t exist at all. Yeah, as if . . .

Let’s face it; members of Congress have never been removed from office in droves. And even if we did throw the bums out, would the alternative be better? We got rid of a Democrat-controlled Congress slightly over a decade ago. Do we really need to return to one so we can speed up the communist makeover of the United States? On the other hand, Republicans have shown themselves to be as unworthy of our trust as Democrats, if not more so. The only thing the Republicans have accomplished since the Contract with America is to show the Democrats how to speak religious words to soothe the masses, especially when Terry Schiavo was the first victim of the New World Order population control teams. As the old advertising jingle used to go: “Where’s the beef?” It surely can’t be found in those illustrious, freedom-depriving laws enacted by those who want to sell out this nation to a global disorder.

Well, I’ve had it with that hypocritical bunch of politicos who speak conservatively at home and give the farm away when it counts—especially when that farm is the entire United States. Idealistically, we could hope for a third-party candidate with enough . . . gravitas? . . . to get elected, but only puppets of the New World Order are allowed to hold public office these days. That leaves us to face one undeniable truth: Get as many real conservatives elected as possible, but know that our options are not and cannot be only political. They have to begin and end with the Creator. Our petitions must go to the One whose plan is being fulfilled everyday, not to those who have no love of this nation, no love of this world, and no love of mankind because they only worship themselves and the evil of “this present darkness” that rules them.
