FORCES MOVING OUR TIMES

Not a lot of effort needs to be expended to see that the juggernaut moving the earth and its inhabitants has to have causal forces that are beyond human vision. People are dissatisfied, even the planet is behaving strangely. We don't have wars as wars have always been fought, we have "terrorism." Or barbarian behaviors. For civilization to regress this rapidly in a nation over 225 years old is phenomenal, and for humans to be so divided over whether God is God or man is god is hubris beyond all comprehension. To have this regression spread over the "civilized" world in forty years is incredible.

We speak and the context has to tell one what we mean. "He is a very liberal person" now has to be reconstructed or it will result in confusion. "He is a very generous person" is one thing; "he is a flaming liberal" is quite another. We have to be explicit for our particular audience because we're now several nations posing as one under a single government entity. We are no longer even a regionalized America with distinctive cultural differences. We're a people divided along every political, racial, social, economic, religious, academic, gender specific and impairment level possible. We're a labeled people under an unlabeled government, a unit of oligarchy with little to no affinity with the people it governs, simply the allegiance it owes to itself and the forces controlling it. Even the label "new world order" has to be explained, since it isn't really a new world order but a new force imposing a particular order upon the world.

Christians are waiting for the "antichrist" to arise and it is walking in our midst, although no single human has claimed the title or put on the full satanic armor of this being. Seeing the world in a geological tumult is more than just happenstance and the tumult of the peoples (the roaring of the "sea") is the result of spiritual warfare in which those loyal to God and His order are set at full odds with those who are moved by the monstrous, barbaric forces of evil roaming at large among us all.

Explain otherwise how intelligent people can damn themselves to Hell for a few measley dollars, even counted in arbitrary units of millions, for a few short years so the earth can be dominated by a few elites they will never live to meet? What's the sense? There isn't any unless those people are so deluded that they cannot see beyond the present moment or live as though their lives will one day end. Accountability has been erased from our teaching systems to eradicate the thought of an afterlife in which there is a final accountability with eternal consequences.

Remove accountability and consequences (which we have) and everything else becomes a universal accident with no meaning, just as we individuals have. Such a universal scheme for world control did not originate with people, even the Illuminati, over two hundred years ago and continue to this day with plans for an indefinite future by some cosmic accident or intellectual big bang. The strategy is demonic and so is the source.

The demonic, anti-God origin of our present world order, which is the incipient new world order still partially clothed with some nationalism, has tossed the planet into chaos. People love dates, so the year 2012 has some special significance now, but that date is significant only if we accept the premise that there is a large black hole at the center of our solar system into which the earth will be inexorably drawn to its total destruction. Yes, we're promised new heavens and a new earth in the Bible, which cannot be rewritten. We're also promised this chaos and the source of it is identified as "the god of this world system" who is the source of all evil and rebellion.

Yet there are more who will scoff at this interpretation of times and events than those who will believe, because this thesis demands the existence of the Almighty Creator and subjection to His word. He is absolute, we now desire everything to be relative to our age and circumstance. It's convenient. Obedience cuts across the nature of fallen man.

But this nation existed almost two centuries and grew, prospered and set an example to the heathen world, a "light to the nations" during that time. No the United States was never perfect, far from it. But the USA was far ahead of other nations and now it is not. We're in a regressive state that the deceivers call "progressive" because it marches toward the desired results of the prime mover of this anti-God system.

Throughout my lifetime there have been wars: World War II, Korea, Viet Nam and the lesser conflicts up to the present Middle East mistake. Much of our confidence in this nation was misplaced and many of our leaders disappointed us or have since been shown to have had less than honorable motives for their actions. But I grew up free compared to the life we live now. Then one law or one treaty at a time our freedom went, the people objected, the people at times rebelled, and the people went to jail or were fined. The government separated totally from "we the people" as our servant and we became its servants. The only defining shots fired were at Ruby Ridge, Waco, and the explosions at Oklahoma City. And for all the exposes written, most Americans still believe the major media version of those events. Even Nine Eleven, the official version of which looks like Swiss cheese with extra holes.

We could probably sum it up this way: what is acted out on earth is what is being played out beyond the time/light barrier in eternity, and as a result more on earth are deluded than those who are not deceived; more are eschewing God for humanism than those who will stand with the God of our fathers. Even most Christians don't know why they believe what they do, they don't study church history or the writings of the early church fathers, the Reformation or the recent movements in church christology. That's okay as long as their simple faith is grounded firmly in the God of all creation and His Son, whose blood paid for our sins and set us free to be people of God. We're just in the world minority and growing fewer each day.

It was stated by Carl Jung that man's capacity for reality is limited. If that limitation is confined to Bible certainty, we can tolerate more, that's been demonstrated from the earliest church days forward. If the limited capacity for reality is rooted in the sands of secular humanism, people are adrift in those sands and washed away with the tides of changing values that have no root.

Is God allowing this to occur? Certainly, He even prophesied it in advance so we who live in this age are not led astray. Life in this world has been limited to a few years lest man live on in his evil ways for age upon age, perpetrating worse evils than before. A short time and it is over on earth for the individual, and then ... the day when we cross over to that eternal judgment decree. Those in Christ to everlasting salvation and life in the Kingdom of God, those without to outer darkness.

It is for eternal judgment that man creates his own god in another human, or in himself. That isn't rational. It is rational to desire to escape such an eternal destiny and on that basis the pulpits in this nation once preached the gospel of grace and told people to avoid the wrath to come.

Now that the wrath is beginning, those who have expected it are not surprised (although some seem to fear the things coming upon the earth when they should not). The rest merely wander around looking for a substance or an experience to take away the emotional pain of seeing a hopeless mess ahead.

The unseen forces are moving this planetary disaster scene toward a culmination. If it weren't a general awareness that things cannot turn out well while going in the present direction, we wouldn't have so many television programs and movies on "Armageddon" or the final conflagration. But without the gospel of grace that gives both hope and salvation, just knowing the world is going to Hell is blasted small comfort.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve ... but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Dorothy Anne Seese has been working since she was three and a half years old, but not as a journalist.

Her career began as a child actress in the 1939-1942 "Five Little Peppers" film series produced by Columbia that mercifully ended with the nation's involvement in World War II, although she did do small parts in a few films until 1953. By that time, she was a student at U.C.L.A. where she received her liberal arts degree in Political Science.
