The Israeli Faction

I doubt if the Palestinians would agree with Bush #2s Evil Empire statement. Their losses were attributable to what they label as monsters who headed the Lukud Party. They label General Sharon as the butcher, a murderer. As head of the Likud Party, he led a large number of his cohorts to violate Islams second most sacred edifice, the Dome of the Rock in order to goad the Muslim Palestinians to retaliate with an intifada at a time when peace was about to be arranged between Israel and Palestinian negotiators.

Sharon had no intention that peace should succeed (Read Sharons Fatal Mistake by Franz Shumann 10-03-00 found in the search engine Google). He then launched a program of constructing illegal housing settlements in Palestinian territory. Later, just prior to his stroke that incapacitated him, he began withdrawing certain non-strategic settlements within occupied Palestine, but typically countered it by sealing off the Palestinian countryside into divided areas and laced them with barb wired roads where passes are needed to go from one village to another, thus making daily life intolerable. He ordered a wall to separate Israel from Palestinine requiring Palestinians to be searched and demeaned by Israeli soldiers while they wait in long lines to work for half wages in Tel Aviv and other cities.

When peace was being negotiated regarding the Oslo accords and Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was involved in negotiating a peace settlement, Yigal Amir, supposedly a member of a Zionist radical group, assassinated him. There is the suspicion that Rabins security guards and key government officials were involved. Rabins widow is convinced of that. This suspicion coincides with the Palestinians belief that this incident is one more example of Israels unwillingness to help settle for peace in the region.

Two of Israels prime ministers are among the many held in contempt by Palestinians. Former terrorists Prime Ministers Yitzhak Shamir and Menachem Begin, both members of the Stern Gang that terrorized the British into abandoning the League of Nations-appointed British protectorate involving Palestine. They learned their trade as emigrants while in the Soviet Union. Begin actually achieved a short lived peace accord with Egypts Anwar Sedat before Sadat was assassinated. He lamented his history as a Stern Gang member before he died, but the Palestinians have long memories. Shamir still remains the perennial Communist loving revolutionary.

Yitzchak Shamir maintained close ties with the Soviets and favored the communist state, believing that the United States is weak and corrupt. When Jonathan Pollard, the American Israeli spy, handed over the U.S. targeting nuclear strike plan against key Soviet installations and the names of the U.S. agents located in the Soviet Union, Shamir in turn gave the information to the Soviets. Soon after that transference, the U.S. lost all contact with its agents. (Ref. Seymour Hersh, the Sampson Option, Page 286).

When it comes to national sovereignty, only Israel has been afforded immunity from accountability. In the 1967 War, Israeli aircraft and PT boats led an unprovoked attack on the U.S. Intelligence ship the USS Liberty. The incident was kept under wraps by orders of President Johnson who was afraid of the political repercussions by the Zionist lobbies in the U.S.[1] The Libertys crew was threatened with court-martial, if they revealed anything about the incident and that long delayed order (3 hours) it took to launch Navy fighters from a nearby U.S. Carrier.

The Western nations have never pressured the mini state regarding its WMD capabilities or its intent to use them. During the 1973 Yom Kippur war, Israel had uploaded its nukes and would have used them against Egypt and Syria creating a nuclear holocaust had it not been for intervention and massive shipments of arms, aircraft and material by the U.S. government.[2]

The FBI arrested the so-called five Israeli sellers of works of art whose visas expired.[3] They pre-positioned telescopes on the roof of a New York skyscraper before the 9-11 attack and were caught dancing shouting with glee after the two aircraft crashed into the twin towers. The question remains how did these foreign agents know when, where and how the attack was to take place? Why werent these friends of the United States not saddened over the murder of nearly 3,000 people, unless they had foreknowledge of a plan to start the process of eliminating Israels Middle East most dangerous enemies and the possible access to an unlimited supply of oil when another Pearl Harbor occurred?

In the eyes of the Middle East, it is the story of America leading the way to fight oil rich countries that are trying to insulate themselves from foreign encroachments, retain sovereignty and hold to coveted oil reserves.

The West is seen in the Middle East as ruthless as the Crusaders of old. The United States, representing western and Israels interests, manipulates to assure democratic rights are accepted by Middle East rulers who never had or wanted democracy in the first place, since democracy in its purist form is unworkable, but in any form it would destroy established monarchal authority in Saudi Arabia, other Arab oil producing countries and tribal sheikdoms. This would allow a takeover by a gaggle of radical Muslim religious fanatics and the establishment of a fundamentalist theocracy. The Mullahs would clamp down on the Wests supply of oil and charge astronomical prices. They would increase oil supplies to Russia and China as favorite nations.

A drastic reduction of American military manpower in Iraq will begin in 2007. The media goading the government to leave Iraq - near total retreat seems the path that is going to take place sooner rather than later.

It costs $30,000 to fully equip a combat soldier including non-flammable clothing, helmet, special combat boots, body armor, night vision goggles and sophisticated communications equipment. Add pay and allowances and retirement benefits and health benefits for life. This amounts to about $500,000 to install a single soldier for life (one that retires from the military).

Because of the cost to equip 40,000 additional soldiers to be used in a final surge, added to the 140,000 now in Iraq, plus needed additional equipment to replace worn out armored vehicles, more sophisticated weaponry and replenish ammunition stocks, the Democrat congress may renege in favor of its planned social programs.

And so the war machine continues towards Iran perpetual war for perpetual peace. Yet, a massive invasion of illegals within our country is ignored by both congress and the White House. How unaffordable? How absurd?
