STATES CONTRIBUTE TO IDENTITY THEFT, JUDGES CONDONE IT

"Hector Angel, Relative of Swift Employee: Everybody has to do what they have to do to make a living. I agree with that, that it's wrong. But at the same time, it's not, because, you know, we are human beings." Lou Dobbs transcript, December 2006 explaining why it's okay to steal your identity.

Some take offense when I refer to illegal aliens as liars, cheats and thieves, but that's exactly what they are. I don't care if he/she has been in this country five minutes or 50 years, illegals cheat their way into our country, they lie at every turn to steal our resources and jobs and destroy the lives of law abiding Americans every day of the week. The states are not doing what needs to be done to protect our identity and personal information.

In 2003, seven million Americans were the victims of identity theft: 19,178 per day, 799 per hour. Look how the numbers have jumped:

More Than 12 Million Identity Fraud Victims in 2012

"The 2013 Identity Fraud Report released in February 2013 by Javelin Strategy & Research reports that in 2012 identity fraud incidents increased by more than one million victims and fraudsters stole more than $21 billion, the highest amount since 2009. The study found 12.6 million victims of identity fraud in the United States in the past year, which equates to 1 victim every 3 seconds. The report also found that nearly 1 in 4 data breach letter recipients became a victim of identity fraud, with breaches involving Social Security numbers to be the most damaging. Over the past year, companies are responding more quickly which means a consumer's information is being misused for fewer days than ever before, and the mean cost per victim has been flattening."

Oh, but wait until you read this bull manure:

Justices Limit Use of Identity Theft Law in Immigration Cases (2009)

WASHINGTON — "The Supreme Court on Monday rejected a favorite tool of prosecutors in immigration cases, ruling unanimously that a federal identity-theft law may not be used against many illegal workers who used false Social Security numbers to get jobs. The question in the case was whether workers who use fake identification numbers to commit some other crimes must know they belong to a real person to be subject to a two-year sentence extension for “aggravated identity theft.”

"The answer, the Supreme Court said, is yes. Prosecutors had used the threat of that punishment to persuade illegal workers to plead guilty to lesser charges of document fraud. “The court's ruling preserves basic ideals of fairness for some of our society's most vulnerable workers,” said Chuck Roth, litigation director at the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago. “An immigrant who uses a false Social Security number to get a job doesn't intend to harm anyone, and it makes no sense to spend our tax dollars to imprison them for two years.”

Roth protects liars, cheats and thieves; it's his bread and butter. The U.S. "Supreme Court" is so far out of touch with reality on this issue those robes need to climb down off Mount Olympus and understand the monstrous damage done to innocent Americans. But, it's not just that court, it's others who also don't seem to understand the hell Americans are put through when their identity is stolen:

Courts: Using another's SSN not a crime

"Is using a forged Social Security Number -- but your own name -- to obtain employment or buy a car an identity theft crime? Lately, U.S. courts are saying it's not. The most recent judicial body to take on the issue, the Colorado Supreme Court, ruled last month that a man who used his real name but someone else's Social Security number to obtain a car loan was not guilty of "criminal impersonation," overturning convictions by lower courts.

"That follows a ruling last year by the U.S. Supreme Court that a Mexican man who gave a false SSN to get a job at an Illinois steel plant could not be convicted under federal identity theft laws because he did not knowingly use another person's identifying number. The ruling overturned an opinion by a federal appeals court in St. Louis -- and contradicted earlier findings by circuit courts in the Southeast, upper Midwest and the Gulf states.

"It hasn't been a shutout for identity theft prosecutors, however. In July, an Iowa state appeals court came to the opposite conclusion, affirming a lower court decision that a man who used a California woman's SSN to obtain employment was guilty of breaking that state's identity theft law.

"Identity theft can take many forms, but one of the most vexing is so-called "SSN-only" ID theft. In it, an impostor uses a victim's SSN --- sometimes purchased from a broker, sometimes nine digits pulled out of thin air -- to obtain credit or to provide necessary documentation to obtain work. In many cases, SSN "borrowing" is successful and the impostor goes undetected for years.

"At the heart of all these cases is a simple question: Does the mere use of an anonymous victim's SSN break identity theft laws? "Mari Frank, a California-based lawyer and identity theft victim advocate, said courts are failing to recognize the real harm caused by impostors, even if imposters are unaware of that harm."

Identity theft growing, costly to victims (April 2013)

"Kellie Droste got surprising news from her accountant last month. An identity thief had stolen the Maricopa, Ariz., resident's personal information and filed a tax return in her name to claim her refund. "He (her accountant) couldn't file our joint tax return, because someone had already filed a tax return under my Social Security number," Droste said.

"Droste reported the fraud and was told it would take at least six months to sort out the matter. Meanwhile, she would have to wait to receive her $2,700 tax refund. Droste is among thousands of taxpayers victimized by a fast-growing form of identity theft in which stolen personal information is used to file fraudulent tax returns. And although fraudulent tax returns are popular with criminals right now, they represent the tip of the iceberg."

Scum bags the criminal impostor in the WH and imbeciles like Dirty Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi want to reward with amnesty:

Criminal Aliens Stealing Identities Of U.S. Citizens: 8 Arrested For Identity Employment Theft

"(Sheriff) Arpaio says, “In many cases illegal aliens are stealing the identities of U.S. citizens to gain employment which contributes to our unemployment problems. Given the state of our local and national economy, this should not be tolerated.” Sheriff Arpaio is also raising awareness to the possibility of voter fraud that can be linked with identity theft. “ID theft is a growing concern in a number of US states as people fear that illegal immigrants may use these false identities to register to vote in elections where they legally have no voice,” said Sheriff Arpaio. “To determine if there is a problem here, we are going to continue to turn over the names of everyone involved in these cases to the Elections Department to verify that this is not happening.”

"The total number of arrests for all 59 employer sanctions operations now stands at 614, including today's arrests. In the previous 58 operations, 100% of all suspects found to be committing identity theft to gain employment were undocumented workers. The combined total of undocumented entrants identified by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office stands at 51,000 resulting from investigations in the jail system by detention officers and arrests made on the streets by Sheriff's deputies."

Every one of those illegals has made the life of an American hell because it can take years to unravel and straighten out your credit history and identity after being stolen and sold on street corners by pro-illegal pimps and:

DMV Official Pleads Guilty to Giving Driver's Licenses to Hundreds of Illegals - "Three people in Virginia, including a DMV employee, pleaded guilty this week to conspiring to get state IDs or driver's licenses for at least 300 illegal immigrants."

Richmond Woman Sentenced to More Than 14 Years for Assisting Illegal Aliens in Obtaining Government Identification Documents

"Cynthia Damariz Salamanca, 29, of Richmond, Va, was sentenced today to 171 months in prison for her role in running a fraudulent identification scheme that allowed illegal aliens to obtain authentic government issued identification documents. As part of the scheme, Salamanca bribed a DMV employee to obtain government issued drivers’ licenses.

"According to court documents, from approximately 2008 to 2011, Salamanca purchased social security cards and birth certificates from United States citizens in Puerto Rico and sold those documents to illegal aliens in Richmond and elsewhere. Using those illegally purchased documents, Salamanca accompanied her illegal alien customers to various governmental agencies, including the Departments of Motor Vehicles in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, to obtain official government-issued identity cards and driver's licenses. During the course of the conspiracy, Salamanca admitted to recruiting a DMV employee to falsify DMV records and issue drivers’ licenses in exchange for thousands of dollars of bribes.

Exactly why DMVs should not be allowed to use SSNs. Everyone is a potential target and the numbers will continue to grow if the state legislatures don't step up to the plate and crack down on the abusive use of social security numbers. State legislatures regulate their own agencies and private business in areas allowed under their state constitutions. They can use unique identifying numbers instead of SSNs. Those who think a 'national' ID card is going to solve the problem live in a dream world.

Before one can solve a problem, you have to go back to where and how it started and this is absolutely germane to the issue. Social security numbers are not automatically issued - anyone wanting one must apply for the number which sets up a bookkeeping account for them. Social security is not an insurance program, it is a voluntary taxing scheme that hundreds of millions of Americans have been tricked into obtaining a social security number (SSN) under the pretext that you must have this number to live or work in these united States. Nothing could be further from the truth, yet this big lie has been condoned and encouraged by every President and Congress for the past 70 years by both political parties. They've lied to you by omission to breed the American people to dependency and a pittance at retirement time.

Do you know that most people aren't even eligible to apply for this number? That's a legal fact that every Congress and President hasn't seen fit to let you know. Go to the Social Security Administration's web site. Their site contains very clever propaganda to make the reader believe you are required to obtain this number. They even have a children's section "encouraging" Mary and Johnny to make sure dad and mum get that number for you to receive all the great benefits! It's enough to gag a maggot.

The abuse of SSNs is rampant; federal law on the use of this number is being ignored wholesale by state agencies and the private sector. A social security number is to be used only for identification purposes regarding your social security account with SSA. Because so few Americans will take the time to read the law, they allow themselves to be herded by government Gestapo agencies into giving up their legal rights, all kissed and blessed by Congress and the White House. And, if you think that's bad, the IRS shares it's information with 150 foreign countries. A ticking time bomb loved by computer hackers working for criminals.

While some reforms have taken place in a handful of states, all across America citizens are still being forced to provide this easily stolen number for cable TV service, medical treatment, employment, credit cards and dozens of other goods and services by companies. All of it is unlawful. When I moved to Texas eight years ago, every entity I called, cable service, water, electric - all ask for my SSN first. I told each and every one of them it's a violation of federal law to ask me for that number. And, guess what? Smooth as cream, each service rep without breaking stride said they knew that and then proceeded to tell me what the deposit would be. That's right. Pay a small deposit and if you pay your bill on time for 12 months, the deposit is returned. Not one of them got my SSN.

The IRS demands you supply this number for your children on your income tax return or you cannot receive the tax breaks contained within their insidious code. A minor who has not been advised of their rights or an infant who can't possibly understand their rights or the consequences of having this number forced upon them is so reprehensible, it screams for remedy. Millions of parents are being forced to enslave their children with a number they aren't required to obtain just to get a "tax break."

Virtually all states of the Union demand a social security number or you will be denied the right to drive a car. I have received hundreds of e-mails from people who refused to get their children social security numbers because of their religious beliefs or they simply don't believe they have the right to shackle their minor children into a voluntary federal taxing scheme. Now, their children can't get a driver's license because the states they live in want to force these teens to get this number or no license.

Many years ago, the legally ignorant California Supreme Court ruled that you will supply this number or you will not get a driver's license. This means that some robes play acting as God ruled that your minor children must be forced to join a voluntary federal taxing scheme by applying for a social security number because your child is not required to obtain a SSN:

Must my child get a social security number? "No. Getting a Social Security number for your newborn is voluntary."

It also means that regardless of your religious convictions and objections to the use of this number, your religious beliefs will be violated. If I were Governor of California when this ruling came down, I would have done everything in my power to impeach every State Supreme Justice who voted yes. Since there is no federal law requiring you to obtain that number under a federal , how can some judges in California require you to obtain that number or refuse you a driver's license? Of course, we must remember, thanks to the damned in the Outlaw Congress, even if you never apply for a SSN you are forced to pay SS taxes to keep that Ponzi scheme alive. The only problem is, SS has $16.3 TRILLION in liabilities as I write this.

This is the absolute bottom line on the issue of social security numbers and driver's licenses: How can a state force you or your minor child into a voluntary federal taxing program that you are not required to join in order to be able to drive a car later in life to earn your bread or freely travel the roads? There's absolutely no valid reason why all motor vehicle departments in the 50 states can't assign an internal identifier for the license holder. None. There would no longer be any incentive for motor vehicle personnel to sell your SSN because your name would only be connected to a benign number and not one tied to your entire financial history.

Probably 15 years ago, a friend of mine who had a talk show on KSFO Hot Talk Radio out of San Francisco took a call from a woman who worked at the California Franchise Tax Board (FTB). She told the listening audience that thousands of social security numbers had as many as 99 names attached to one number. Perhaps now you can understand why identity theft is rampant and why all 50 state legislatures must step in and put a stop to the unlawful use of this number.

In some states, real estate agents, plumbers and other trades are being denied renewal of their licenses because they refuse to supply a SSN. It is our God given right to work for our bread and there is absolutely no legitimate reason why any state needs a SSN in order to renew a license to do business. If this is going on in your state, contact the Small Business Owners Association and other related organizations. Meet with them and explain how this is not only violating federal law, it also violates everyone's rights and puts everyone - including them - in jeopardy to become a victim of identity theft. Those large organizations can really put the heat on the State House.

Before this massive abuse of this number became vogue, state agencies and companies in the private sector simply established account numbers for their customers/clients and it can be done again. Due to the advancement of technology and computers, purging social security numbers and replacing them with a unique customer/client account number is not a major undertaking, even for a state agency with hundreds of thousand or millions of names, i.e. motor vehicle departments. The cost of identity theft is far, far greater than the cost of using a computer program to issue new identifying numbers for customers/clients. The financial future of all Americans is on the line here and it's long past time for our paid public servants take this issue seriously and act.

How you can effect change

Everyone and that includes the 7400 members of the 50 state legislatures - is a potential victim of identity theft. It's just a matter of time. The criminals are relentless. If it's not the Russian Mafia operating in this country, it's terrorists using stolen SSNs and state workers caught betraying their fellow citizens for a buck. Over and over we have seen news reports of employees at motor vehicle agencies in a half dozen states indicted for selling thousands of SSNs obtained from their records when people apply for their driver's license. How many haven't been caught?

With the massive invasion by liars, cheats and thieves coming across our borders, it's just a matter of time before you're one of the 900 people per hour hit by identity theft.

I strongly urge everyone to contact their state legislator; do it as a group or organization if possible. Tell him/her what the law says and you demand they introduce legislation to stop the use of SSNs as identifiers for all states agencies when it is not absolutely necessary for obtaining a business license, medical providers or private industry.

A social security number is the key to numbering every American, tracking our movements, invading our privacy and significantly increases the odds that every one of us will be a victim of identity theft. This monstrous stealing of your identity will ruin your life, destroy your credit and can bankrupt you in five minutes. Everything you've ever worked for gone and the only thing left behind is a nightmare of debt incurred using your stolen SSN.

State legislators are there to protect your rights by making certain they aren't trampled on or abused because it's easier to force everyone to provide a number that by law is only supposed to be used for identification purposes by SSA and the gangsters at the IRS. The states must take the lead in doing everything possible to stop people's lives from being ruined by theft identity. The states must stop allowing their citizens to be forced into a voluntary federal taxing scheme for things like getting a driver's license. This isn't a Republican or Democrat party issue, it's a ticking time bomb that affects every man, woman and child in this country.

Again, and please forgive me for being redundant, but I want to make certain I drive this point home: No one is required to obtain a social security number to live or work in these united States of America: How the government lies about social security

The abuse of SSNs and theft identity is epidemic and must be stopped. Companies and state agencies are getting away with it because the people haven't made a concerted, massive effort to stop them. Companies, including health care providers get away with it because your state legislator and mine lets them. If you think identity theft can't happen to you - at a rate of almost 35,000 Americans every day and growing - the chances of you becoming a victim grows exponentially - no matter how rich or famous you might be or whether you serve in public office. Everyone is a potential victim and that's something every state legislator should think about when their constituents come to them about this issue.

One thing you can do is notify the top three credit reporting agencies that I despise; names and addresses here. Send them a certified letter and tell them to put a lock on your credit history. John and I did it more than a decade ago when some idiot took home a computer disk from the VA with millions of names and SSNs of veterans that was stolen out of his briefcase. If I remember correctly, the fee is $10.00 per credit reporting 'agency'. The downside is any time you wish to make a purchase on credit, you have to send them another certified letter with your driver's license and one other photo id to allow such and such company to review your credit history. Be specific as to how long to leave open, i.e., Oct 1 - Oct 15th. If someone tries to access your credit report using a stolen SSN, it will be immediately flagged. However, when one considers the misery and possible financial loss from having your identity stolen, it's a small price to pay as they say.

The Democratic/Communist Party USA and too many RINOs in the Outlaw Congress (think dirt bag Lamar Alexander) don't give a damn about national security, your identity, your safety or your wallet. All they care about is getting reelected, more control and signing up all those illegals to vote for their putrid party. Wait until after November and then betray Americans - and they will despite what the American people want:

DHS Chief Affirms ALIPAC Analysis of Obama's Retreat on Illegal Immigration Issues

"Pam Key of Breitbart News reported that Wednesday September 10, DHS Chief Jeh Johnson spoke to the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and cited the brewing conservative elections backlash as Obama's incentive to retreat. Johnson cited the 1994 elections backlash where 50 Democratic seats were lost, saying, "As you know the president has determined we should wait until after the midterm elections to announce what we believe we can and should do to fix the system." The CFR organization is one of the main driving forces behind the scenes of the illegal immigration invasion of America.

"DHS Secretary Johnson's comments to the CFR affirm William Gheen's prior analysis and statements to the public predicting that a conservative backlash greater than the historic shifts of 1994 and 2010 is possible in the 2014 Midterm Elections and that such a shift could destroy immigration reform amnesty legislation attempts."

Those jobs belong to Americans and naturalized Americans who need them:

* MCSO deputies arrest 11 in raid of America's Taco Shop
* HSI arrests 7-11 franchise owners in illegal alien employment scheme

BROOKLYN, N.Y – "Two indictments were unsealed Monday charging eight men and one woman from Long Island with conspiring to commit wire fraud, stealing identities and concealing and harboring illegal aliens employed at 7-11 Inc. franchise stores located throughout Long Island and Virginia. The charges, arrests and seizures resulted from an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Social Security Administration's Office of the Inspector General, the New York State Police and the Suffolk County Police."

* Sheriff Joe Raids GNC Nutrition: 21 Illegals Using Stolen IDs
* Sheriff Joe Nails Illegal Alien Identity Thieves at Popular Restaurant Chain

"On Wednesday, Maricopa County sheriff's deputies and posse volunteers Uncle Sam's restaurant employees in ID theft raid executed search warrants at three locations of Uncle Sam's following a nine-month forgery and ID theft investigation. Sheriff's detectives say as many as 121 people hired to work for the restaurant chain since October gained employment by using falsified documents and stolen IDs. Sheriff Joe Arpaio said many of the victims are local residents. As many as 50 deputies and posse members attempted to locate 70 suspects currently employed at two restaurant locations....

"Activists were livid, and demanded Joe be stopped by Judge Snow. "Arpaio should not have conducted these raids in the first place," said Sandra Castro, an organizer with Puente Arizona. "Why is he going after these folks based on ID fraud when you know it's linked to immigration?" Castro asked. Uh, because it is against the law, Ms. Castro, but of course you and your illegal alien buddies have no respect for our nation or its laws."

Illegal immigrants turn to identity theft: Oh, do read (and watch) these:

WICHITA, Kan. — "When U.S. Air Force veteran Marcos Miranda had his identity stolen, he went from being a valued customer and employee to a government statistic — one of thousands of identity theft victims caught up each year in the crackdown on illegal immigrants......Miranda first learned someone else was using his identity in 2000 when he was arrested on a warrant for unpaid traffic tickets at the border after a visit to relatives in Mexico. The 24-year-old Texas man was released after paying a $340 fine for violations he never incurred. Although his money was eventually returned, his nightmare was just beginning.

"The most common start to identity theft is for the perpetrator get hold of someone's Social Security number, which is part of the system used to record people's earnings for federal retirement benefits. Once a person takes a job in the U.S., the first thing his employer will likely ask for is his or her Social Security number.

"In Miranda's case, that's why he has gotten repeated letters from the federal tax officials demanding thousands of dollars in back taxes for wages paid to someone using his name and Social Security number to work at a pork slaughterhouse in Holton, Kansas. Miranda watched his once-high credit rating plummet as creditors reported unpaid bills incurred by others. "Even though I am Hispanic, I am against illegal immigration," Miranda said. "Even though a lot of them come to work, there are always bad apples. (Identity theft) has really made my perspective ... negative about immigration."
