TO DR. BLUMENFELD'S PARTISAN DEFENSE OF OUTSOURCING
April 3, 2004
"Free trade breaks up old nationalities...In a word, the free trade system hastens the social revolution. Gentlemen, I am in favor of free trade"! Karl Marx 1848
What does free trade have to do with outsourcing? As Ben Matlock used to say, "Give me a minute, your honor and I'll make the connection."
Normally I do not engage in refuting a fellow journalist's work - except in extreme cases. Dr. Samuel Blumenfeld's recent Kerry bashing article, The Benefits of Outsourcing, simply cannot go unchallenged. I belong to no political party. I vote my conscious because to vote for the lesser of two evils still gives you evil. Dr. Blumenfeld is welcome to bash Kerry 'til the cows come home, but his assertion that outsourcing benefits America is myopic and dangerous.
Picking apart the propaganda
"The measure of the wealth of a nation is indicated by the measure of its protection of its industry; the measure of the poverty of a nation is marked by the degree in which it neglects and abandons the care of its own industry, leaving it exposed to the action of foreign powers." Congressman Henry Clay, 1824.
"What he ignores is the fact that it is American technological superiority that has made outsourcing possible. The communications revolution has made global telephoning as cheap as local calls."
Sure, but who wants cheap? Who can eat computer chips for dinner? I don't want cheap, I want quality. I don't want anything from a communist country like China that forces women to abort their fully developed baby close to their delivery date. Outsourcing produces nothing for America except corporate profits at the expense of Americans. Who wants to do business with a company that supports communism? It is anti-American, period.
"The global theory of free trade is siphoning off America's wealth and bringing her economy to the level of others. The theory is displacing American workers who otherwise would be employed." Senator George Malone, 1958.
"The dynamism of the American economy cannot be explained or understood merely by the statistics coming out of Washington."
With all due respect to Dr. Blumenfeld, those statistics are our fellow country men and women who no longer have jobs; thousands who have been laid off from their life long chosen careers into less paying service oriented jobs. According to Richard Benson, President of Specialty Finance Group on February 12, 2004:
"While the industrial sector is recovering, employment in the manufacturing sector has not increased since the start of the recession - there has been job loss in manufacturing for the past 42 months in a row. The United States has been in an economic recovery for over a year and a half and continues to lose manufacturing jobs every month! This is unprecedented! America is losing manufacturing jobs paying $45,000 - $60,000 a year so it needs three new service jobs paying $15,000 - $20,000 a year just to replace the one manufacturing job that was lost."
In case Dr. Blumenfeld hasn't checked the latest statistics, the U.S. textile industry has been unmercifully devastated by free trade which has birthed "outsourcing." In the three years before the NAFTA treaty was unconstitutionally entered into, the United States lost 2,000 jobs in textiles and 33,000 in apparel. In just the first seven years after NAFTA, the job loss has been astronomical: 227,000 jobs lost in textiles with 434,000 jobs lost in the apparel sector.
Since NAFTA & GATT were shoved down America's throats, millions of jobs in all three key sectors (manufacturing, industrial, agriculture) have now gone off U.S. soil. Millions. Outsourcing is growing like a runaway cancer, right along with the country's trade deficit. Last year's monstrous trade deficit was an astronomical $541.8 billion and plant closings continue. This is good for America?
It is also one of the primary reasons I refuse to buy stock in any of these companies who have moved jobs off U.S. soil and just like Warren Buffet, I put my money into gold. Buying stock in any company who has moved jobs to Communist countries like China, Russia, Hong Kong or others like the Philippines, is the equivalent of funding our own destruction. Why on earth would I buy stock in a company that has laid off thousands of Americans in favor of giving them to people in India? When pigs fly.
I can already hear Dr. Blumenfeld repeat the same mantra coming from President Bush who quit using the word outsourcing last week in favor of the sinister "isolationism." A very wise man by the name of Ezra Taft Benson, former Secretary of Agriculture during the Eisenhower Administration, addressed this issue in his magnificent book, An Enemy Hath Done This, pg 155:
"Already, I can hear the chorus chanting "Isolationism, isolationism, he's turning back the clock to isolationism." How many use that word without having the slightest idea of what it really means! The so-called isolationism of the United States in past decades is a pure myth.
"What is isolationism? Long before the current trend of revoking our Declaration of Independence under the guise of international cooperation, American influence and trade was felt in every region of the globe. Individuals and private groups spread knowledge, business, prosperity, religion, good will and, above all, respect throughout every foreign continent. It was not necessary then for America to give up her independence to have contact and influence with other countries. It is not necessary now.
"Yet, many Americans have been led to believe that our country is so strong that it can defend, feed and subsidize half the world, while at the same time believing that we are weak and "interdependent" that we cannot survive without pooling our resources and sovereignty with those we subsidize. If wanting no part of this kind of "logic" is isolationism, then it's time we brought it back into vogue." (End of quote)
"He, therefore, who is now against domestic manufacture, must be for reducing us either to dependence on that foreign nation, or to be clothed in skins, and to live like beasts in dens and caverns. I am not one of these." President Thomas Jefferson, 1815.
"Today Boston is bustling with high-tech hospitals, labs, universities, conventions, restaurants, high-fashion malls, publishing, art galleries, insurance, finance, tourist attractions such as the Quincy Market, all greatly aided by the computer revolution. But the hotels need maids, cooks, bellhops, cleaning personnel not only for the hotels but the gleaming new skyscrapers. And that is why Boston now has a large Latino population. The Irish no longer do the cleaning. They run the political arena."
Really? Insurance, galleries, tourist attractions, hotels - all service oriented jobs that produce nothing but "good times." America became the greatest nation on this earth because we manufactured what we needed, we grew what we needed to sustain our population and our industrial might was the envy of the world. Now we depend on our enemies to produce for us. Ignorant Americans continue to buy fruits and vegetables from countries like Mexico who not only don't have the same health standards we do, but that government is encouraging and facilitating the massive invasion across our borders, giving US their criminals and welfare seekers who care nothing for America, her heritage or her culture.
Boston is now run by Latins because Irish no longer do the cleaning, they run the political arena? It might surprise Dr. Blumenfeld to know that there are still Americans of Irish descent who would like to have those hotel jobs now being held by illegals who buy the necessary green card off the street. This is good for America?
In Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, GE pays Mexican workers $15 bucks an hour. That job used to belong to an American who lost his/her job to send south of the border. With millions of jobs evaporating, too many of these "displaced" workers end up with minimum wage jobs after being unemployed for months. And, the American people get slapped another time in additional taxes to fund government programs through more borrowing (debt) that "re-train" American workers laid off due to these evil trade treaties! There wouldn't be this unconstitutional expenditure if it weren't for NAFTA and GATT.
This is good for America? Tell that to the worker who lost their job to some village down in Mexico. One only need read the August 11, 2003 article by Patrick Buchanan, The Death of Manufacturing to see where we're headed and it's gotten far worse since Buchanan put the truth to paper. I was fortunate to see Pat's sister, Bay, speak in the Washington, DC area this past January. Ms. Buchanan had the facts that tell the terrible truth about outsourcing and "free" trade.
If America were attacked in the same fashion as FDR allowed to happen December 7, 1941 by the Japanese, we could not gear up to defend ourselves. Not with U.S. Army boots being made by our mortal enemies, the Communist Chinese and not with airplane parts being made by finicky regimes. Let's not forget that most of our military are scattered all over this globe spilling their blood in furtherance of a new world order with our Commander in Chief as the current propaganda minister for his global masters.
And, the final kicker from Dr. Blumenfeld:
"Our unemployment level is much lower than in socialist Western Europe. Why? Because these socialist governments have conditioned their people to depend on government for just about everything, and there is little incentive to do anything outside the plans of government. "
European governments have conditioned their people to depend on government for just about everything? Has Dr. Blumenfeld been on another planet for the past 40 years? Americans have been conditioned to put their hand out for "free" prescription pills, medicare, social security, welfare, subsidies and on and on and on for decades. So called "freebies" that are costing hundreds of billions of dollars each year.
It's Communism, Dr. Blumenfeld
Communism isn't dead, it is the face of this government and has been for decades, regardless of which party is in power. Our system of capitalism is dying right before our eyes, yet educated individuals like Dr. Blumenfeld can't seem to see the foot prints of the global masters. Communism has a firm foot hold in this country that will destroy what's left of our wonderful system based on capitalism unless all Americans regardless of political party affiliation, recognize the scheme for world domination, who is behind it and how it's being implemented.
Try these facts on for size. The following "1963 Communist Goals" was entered into the Congressional record by Albert Herlong, Jr., who served in Congress from 1949-69.
- U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only
alternative to atomic war.
Take a look at that list of goals and see how many have been accomplished. No more SAC (Strategic Air Command) to keep America from harm. Loyalty oaths, out the window. We all remember Mr. Reagan asking the Ruskies to "tear down that wall." Quite a well orchestrated photo op, but it was all settled behind the scenes long ago.
The Communist Party is flourishing in America. Angela Davis used to teach at UCLA paid for by my tax dollars while she was a big shot with the Communist party in California. She's still spreading her poison to America's youth and she's still a tenured college professor here in California.
Present sodomy as normal? We can all see the huge push to normalize perversion, further enabling them access and opportunity to continue brainwashing your children in grade school so they can recruit them later when they're teens. Only a fool can't see how the American people have been manipulated on this issue with chants of "civil rights" and "discrimination."
Prayer in school? "Outlawed" in 1962. Now the Pledge of Allegiance is under attack big time by atheists who are nothing more than obedient little communists. It is critical for a Godless, communist state that the cattle (people) pledge their allegiance only to mother state, not a Republic under God. Think about it.
Discredit the Constitution? How many times do we hear "liberals" spew nonsense about how the U.S. Constitution isn't keeping up with today and is "elastic"? Anyone who has taken a hard look at education today sees that even saying the Pledge of Allegiance is banned or has been dropped all together so it doesn't offend foreigners who have come to America to destroy our culture and demand we adopt their religions. All in the plans for communist domination.
Disparage American history? What history? When I went to school, the day was reading, writing, arithmetic, home ec, phys ed and electives like drama or public speaking. Today's student gets first period diversity training and multiculturalism indoctrination. Second period is instruction on how to have a sodomite experience. Third period is about how to become a model citizen under the UN. Then lunch. Fourth period is how to get an abortion without your parents finding out or training on your "reproductive rights." Fifth period is porn movies disguised as sex ed training.
Why, even the glorification of Lucifer (Satan) is pushed in the government indoctrination centers:
"WorldNetDaily obtained a copy of the 67-page pamphlet, published in 1992 and written by Eugene Schwartz, head of the Waldorf teacher training program at Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, N.Y. The "Guide" says, on page 54: "Most of that which contributes to our work as teachers, preparation work, artistic work, even meditative work, is under the guardianship of Lucifer. We can become great teachers under his supervision, for he is responsible for much that has blossomed in the unfolding of civilization and culture in the past."
Get the kids of America away from their parents and under the influence of the state and schools, discredit the Bible: "Every child who believes in God is mentally ill." --Dr. Paul Brandwein, leading U.S. child psychologist.
This is the bigger picture well meaning folks like Dr. Blumenfeld simply can't see. While he and others are busy chasing the two boogey-men, Bush and Kerry, the Masters of the Game continue their relentless assault on this nation. Outsourcing and free trade are two of their biggest hammers and sadly, the American people don't seem to mind being hammered into bondage and complete financial ruin.
There can be no doubt that free trade and one of its by-products, 'outsourcing,' are communist goals. I rest my case.
