MINIMUM WAGE AND FASCISM

"When all government, domestic and foreign, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power, it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated." --Thomas Jefferson to Charles Hammond, 1821. ME 15:332

The minimum wage issue has died in the U.S. Senate with Democrats wringing their hands and wailing about the plight of the poor. It's not bad enough Congress continues to run rough shod over private enterprise, but the states do it as well. Out in California where I lived until two months ago, the socialists and Fascists who run that legislature are always on the look out for a new way to continue their destructive path of putting so much taxation and regulation on the backs of employers, they are either driving them out of the state or out of business. One of the favorite 'causes' of California's bleeding heart liberals is the issue of minimum wage employees. This disease has spread to Chicago where their City Council recently passed some bilge called the "big box" living wage, penalizing employers with a certain annual sales. Henceforth, these private businesses will be forced to pay an employee $10 an hour in wages and another $3 in fringe benefits. I hope this goes to court because it is flat out wrong, will eventually result in the lay off of more minimum wage class employees and continues to set the ground work for total Fascism.

These factually challenged bureau-rats in the legislatures, city councils and Congress want to continue punishing the employer by passing new laws to continually raise wages in the private sector. These mental midgets claim this will benefit the worker. Nothing like twisting logic upside down to get more votes and it's not just confined to Democrats. This is what a Republican had to say about this latest episode in Congress over the minimum wage:

"Whether people like it or not, we need to go ahead with it," said Rep. Mike Castle, R-Del., who supports the idea. "There's a general agreement among Republicans (opposing the raise) that "maybe we don't like it much, but we need to move forward with it just for political reasons." So you see, this isn't caring about the little guy, it's about politics and votes.

I have every respect for any individual who gives an honest day's work for a day's wage. Traditionally in this country, workers are compensated for their labor according to their skill, education and experience. Minimum wage jobs were never meant to be a 'living wage' because those are jobs that generally require little to no experience, i.e. high school drop-outs, unskilled workers, or by college students because of flexible schedules and retired folks looking to supplement their retirement income and stay active. Paying an entry level clerk $100 an hour isn't going to solve the problem. It's the endless confiscation of your hard earned labor via more and more heavy, progressive taxation. The only thing that raising the wages of a convenience store clerk does is put the employer further behind the eight ball.

I ask you: where does the U.S. Constitution, Art. 1, Section 8, give Congress the authority to dictate to any private employer what they can and can't pay an employee? America is a free enterprise system. A system driven by competition and hard work. Do most Americans understand what Fascism is? Fascism is defined as a system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls; oppressive, dictatorial control. For the federal government to centralize the labors of the common man under laws that dictate socioeconomic controls is to strangle free enterprise and competition. These poltroons in Congress can wrangle about tax cuts for the rich and raising the minimum wage, but it will NEVER cure the cancer, only prolong it. These sandbaggers in Congress are the ultimate liars who have led you down the path of slavery for your entire adult life and unless the people stop rewarding such deceit, the game will go on with the losers being we the people. I can tell you the real men who birthed this republic would never have allowed any Congress to get away with this type of oppression and the deliberate destruction of a free enterprise system.

As the gluttony of the bloated federal and state governments continues to grow unchecked, the burden of taxation is killing off the middle class and for those with a combined household income of less than $35,000 a year, it literally is living one can of beans to the next. These ever so benevolent politicians with a Gestapo agency like the IRS to carry out their dirty work, continue to bleat that the only way to help those hard working folks who really do need a break is to continue raising taxes for more useless federal, state and county jobs that produce nothing and raise the minimum wage level of pay. This stupidity actually hurts those minimum wage workers even more. Naturally this lunacy is a sure recipe for failure, but then again, most politician's thought process is driven by campaign contributions and not logic. Politicians tend to be weepy, cowardly, emotion driven creatures who can't seem to help themselves.

What would most help our minimum wage earners? Stop the "pay-as-you-go" scam called withholding. How many Americans know or understand how the withholding taxing scheme came about? How many know that this slick soak-the-worker mechanism was originally a temporary, emergency "victory tax" to help fund WWII and to "soak up the excess spending power of the American people to control inflation?" See the history of withholding here. These are historical facts.

Understanding the income tax hoax

The biggest misconception Americans have is that this money stolen from their paychecks every pay day funds the necessary functions of a limited form of Republican government. It does not:

President's Private Sector Survey On Cost Control A Report to The President (Reagan) January 15, 1984. Available from the Congressional Research Service. The excerpt below can be found on page 12:

"Resistance to additional income taxes would be even more widespread if people were aware that:

* With two-thirds of everyone's personal income taxes wasted or not collected, 100% of what is collected is absorbed solely by interest on the Federal Government contributions to transfer payments.

"In other words, all individual income tax revenues are gone before one nickel is spent on the services which taxpayers expect from their government." End of excerpt.

Understanding the money trail is the key to stopping this travesty against we the people. Without knowledge, one will just continue to stumble around in the dark. If the majority of Americans knew their income tax dollars does NOT fund the legitimate functions of a republican form of government, but instead enriches the banking cartel and transfer payments to the communist UN (unconstitutional), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), also unconstitutional and a thousand other thefts condoned by Congress and sitting presidents for a hundred years, there would be such an outcry in this country, it would flatten a national forest.

How companies benefit from stopping withholding:

Employers increase their bottom line by approximately 30%. Their role as unpaid tax collector for the feds goes away legally. The risk of being sued by employees for unauthorized withholding of earnings goes away. Without this monkey on their backs, businesses can devote the money previously spent as unpaid tax collectors towards creating new jobs and hiring instead of lay offs. Employers are nothing more than unpaid tax collectors for the government. This is a travesty our Founding Fathers and those who shed their blood to give us a free nation would have found so repugnant, yet employers all across this country simply sit back and do nothing to correct it.

Just think what a God-send it would be for minimum wage employees to not have anything taken out of their paychecks each week or bi-monthly. That extra couple hundred plus dollars a month would go a long way towards helping with child care, medical needs, food and other basic necessities of life. The functions of a limited federal government would not suffer one scintilla. The only ones who would suffer are the rich, corrupt dictators in countries like Africa and other foreign governments who get unconstitutional foreign aid plundered from an empty treasury - in other words - borrowed paper from the Fed.

What about social security taxes for your employees? The employee can make their contribution directly to SSA. After all, the employee has voluntarily entered into a federal taxing program for their retirement, not yours. Why should you have to baby sit four or five hundred employees retirement and pay for it, too? Remember: No one is forced to obtain a social security number - you must apply for it by submitting an application. Think about it. Employers had better think about what is going to happen when that first wave of baby boomers retire in 2008 regarding withholding; see here.

How does the individual and our economy benefit from not having their paycheck forcibly raided?

This so-called "pay-as-you-go" income tax scheme benefits only the central bank and it's Class A stockholders - stock YOU cannot hold or even be a participant. Congress needs the central bank because the constitutionally generated revenues fall hundreds of billions of dollars short of these criminal budgets passed by these scoundrels and signed into law by president after president. It's got to stop because the day of reckoning is coming. This country belongs to the people, not a select cartel of bankers sucking the lifeblood from US.

Our economy would get an instant shot in the arm to the tune of hundreds of millions of disposable dollars instead of the central bank printing and circulating more worthless fiat currency. The cash strapped states would immediately benefit because people would spend. Don't let Bush or deceitful members of Congress scare you with smoke and mirrors about the deficit, lower taxes for the rich and the rest of the smoke and mirrors.

Americans would also be able to save for that rainy day. Now, even two income families are in debt up to their eyebrows and it's because of this oppressive taxation that isn't necessary. There's nothing left at the end of the month for savings anymore. When will the working class in this country stand up to this criminal syndicate out in Washington, DC and stop this grand larceny of your labor?

What can you do?

This "trifecta" bill that was just killed before Congress left for their FIVE WEEK VACATION, also included a lot of flatulence about tips - something minimum wage employees in the food service industry greatly depend on to make ends meet. Study the facts and the law. This pdf file is a post from Preferred Services. I know this courageous woman who has been fighting the lies spewed by Congress and the IRS for years. She has generously given so much of her time to help educate Americans on what the law really says. This is not legal advice, but informational so you can go to the law library and research for yourself. Then, meet with your lawyer or accountant and go over the law as it's written. Next: These duplicitous scalawags in Congress are not going to come clean. They need to steal every penny they can from you because they continue to spend trillions of dollars that don't exist. We the people must create such a firestorm on this issue, it forces change. It's our only option at this point in time because the federal courts are so thoroughly corrupted, there is no justice to be found in those "hallowed halls." Ideally, the American people would boot these lying jackals out of Congress this November, but it won't happen for all the reasons I've covered in prior columns, i.e., vote fraud.

Where is the leadership of all the small businesses in America, representing 10 MILLION small business owners? There are literally dozens of these organizations that exist to protect the rights of small employers whose memberships are in the tens of thousands - some as high as 70,000. If you belong to one of these organizations, get the leadership the law and began demanding that it's time to either start curing the cancer or you will leave that organization. They need your money and your participation to stay in operation. What good are all these organizations if they only continue treating the symptoms and cowering to a corrupt government? Employers, educate your employees so that they become part of the process of building such a firestorm politicians cannot ignore - just like the illegals invasion issue.

If we the people don't get the truth to our fellow countrymen and women, our precious children and grand babies will be like you and me: indentured servants to the banking cartel, aided and abetted by , ignorant and crooked politicians. It's so important that each one of us do everything in our power (when you're not holding down three jobs or the "American dream" as Mr. Bush joked about) to educate and activate our fellow Americans. Who is the master here? Right now, the American people are little better than slaves. As for me, I refuse to live my life on my knees so that Chuckie Schmuer, Marxist Hillary Clinton or Denny Hastert can grind my face into the dirt. When pig's fly.
